xamas 08-07-07, 04:35 PM	im playing a dread necro in a goodish campaign in which we are fighting a very large number of undead. i have not selected my advanced learning spells yet because i keep forgetting to but i have now decided to pick them. i am looking for spells which can deal direct damage to undead and fiendish creatures but have not managed to find any that are core, but this is probably due to the fact that i havnt looked very hard. i am at level 12 and have not picked the level 8 spell or the level 12 one. also we are using core and few non core things, our dm tells us if we can use the non core things. my dm also doesnt really like my dread necro because he thinks it is over powered so i cant have to powerful spells. i was wondering if anyone knew of any useful spells. thanks in advance xamas
deathbane 08-07-07, 09:00 PM	why does ur DM think it is overpowered? You have a low BAB, and your spell selection is very limited. You cant even use other spells unless you boost UMD. I think the dread nercomancer already has the necro spells in the PHB so you will have to find other spells, and their usefulness depend on what you want your character to be able to do, and the monsters you will be fighting. Tell me what your vision for your character is and I can find spells(hopefully) that can be useful and help you continue in a direction with ur character.
