Advice on playing 2 PCs in 2 halves of 1 campaign [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-13-04, 11:42 AM Hi! Our party is doing the old Dragonlance split the party in two to find the magic artifacts thing. Mostly because of scheduling conflicts. Anyways, I don't have the scheduling conflicts, so I am now going to play in both halves. My old PC is a N elf druid archer 4. My new PC is a LG human monk with the vow of poverty.

Any advice on how to keep the two different PC's knowledges separated?

01-13-04, 11:05 PM Take notes. If someone asks you a question, check your notes. If you don't have it written down for that character, then that character doesn't know it.

Unless your looking for the obvious answer (don't metagame), that is the best advice that I could give as well. You will be taking a decent amount of notes, because you never know what might be important, but they needn't be too detailed, just enough to refresh your memory.
