ALERT: What Happened to the Sticky? [Archive] - Wizards Community

What happened to the "crazy house rules" sticky? It's one of my favorite threads on the boards, and (I thought) immune from automated deletion because of its Sticky status.

Was it intentionally removed? Or did the boards glitch up? Hopefully it will be restored soon, but why did it disappear in the first place?

Could be that it was becoming too big so that it caused trouble for the database.

If it was for length reasons, then why not keep it stickied but lock it from any new posts, then put a continuation thread stickied right next to it?

And if it's because of flaming, then why now?? At least seven flamewars have started up and died out on that thread in the past, and at the time it was locked things were very civil.

My Theory: Somebody posted WotCs secret plans for 4.0 on the thread, and it had to be destroyed. :shifty:

01-18-06, 06:48 PM Well, ok I don't actually hate the d02 System (http://www2.hawaii.edu/~rdeese/RPG/D02/D02.htm), I must have gotten myself confused with a silent wail (http://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?threadid=31914&highlight=d02). However, it does definitely tick me off that that this thread has been removed without even an explanation.
