Difficult or simple question

If I were to use the Bloodline varient from the Unearthed Arcana book, would I count as the race of my Bloodline?

Lets assume I create a Troll Bloodlined Human. From the sake of feat requirements would I count as a Troll and a Human as well? Would I only count as a Troll? Or simply count as a Human… Or Monstrous Humanoid?

Would this vary depending upon Minor/Major Bloodlines?

My thread title is very catchy I've been singing it in my head since I thought of it. :)

Well it works for Half-elves, but you will have to ask your DM for a definative ruling AND if you can do this at all. After all, all the rules in the UA are optional, not mandatory, so he may turn around and say "What Bloodline?"

You count as whatever the base race is, not the bloodline. Bloodlines do not change your type or subtypes at all.

....Unless you are HALF-something. Half-elf, half-orc, half-ling, etc.
