Well that's the problem.

I am playing an Annointed Knight that somehow never has downtime.

I barely have time to Annoint myself...

My ancestral relic is still a +1 falchion would it should be up to a +3/+4 next level if I had the time by the balanced chart.

So what is the problem...Well at first it was I can awaken the ancestral relic per level like the chart one day maximum is the maximum on the chart. Now it's changedd to the book text of 1,000 per day of downtime. I haven't even had downtime in 3 levels to do the other thing...non the less the 22 days needed to do this...

My team will not give me any downtime either...it's a we have to do everything now kind of thing...

This isn't about balance either...

We have a dwarven paladin with a +4 Longsword of Speed and Ghost Touch

Again even maxed out I can only have a +4 weapon NEXT LEVEL!!!

What is some good advise to give my DM on the current situation.

Now for the very worst thing..If my character had a +4 Londsword of Speed and Ghost Touch he would simply sacrifice it for his ancestral relic. This is his main weapon...gift from the god and family...he won't use any other weapon for the bond he has with this and how it was aquired...sure he'll use arrows etc...however if he is able to use the sword for mellee combat...he has to for roll playing purposes.

Set up a base of operations and simply "retire" your character for the time needed for him to upgrade his weapon. Then when he's finished, he can come back to the party.

Just say no. Dont go. Take a few gamedays off. By the time your relic is ready to use, they should be missing you.

Your character is getting hosed. You need to sit down with the DM and say, "Hey, here's my problem." Don't be combative. Just lay out the problem, and a reasonable solution.

For instance, the GM may let you retcon a weapon bonus. He could let you spend the gold when you level up. He could allow non-sequestered time to enchant the weapon.
