i dont know if this works but it may i dont have the book with me.
a free army in a can is the purpose basicaly.

take a giant woodchipper machine...
a large amount of trolls...
and a good storage area(prefferably on another plane, one with no time)

throw the trolls in.
put the parts in the storage.
dump them out and watch them grow.

im not sure if the parts will grow new trolls but it depends on what rules
your using, just an idea that popped into my head one day

I wouldn't try this. The worst case scenario is that it works. Then you're surrounded by a small army of trolls, each of them with the painful memory of the experiencen in the woochipper and the knowledge that you did it to them. I wouldn't want to be you at that moment. :mymy:

Besides the fact that separated troll parts no longer regenertate, THE_DARK_ONE has a good point. They would want some pay back from you.

Yeah, if you chop a troll up, only the largest piece remains alive.

Go for the old "Skeletons in a bag" trick... a high level necromancer can keep an army in a big enough bag of holding! :)
