We need a concept of sorts. If you want humorous and wacky, you may get completely over-the-top answers (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=376014).

Yes, read the whole thread, if you can do so without falling out of your chair.

Warforged Wizard, wand sheath, wands of magic missile (maybe even an eternal wand of magic missile) Mithral Body, Mithral Fluidity. As many feats to improve wand usage as you can manage (plus, naturally, craft wand as your level 5 bonus feat) Paint yourself blue and talk your DM into letting you take a 1hd version of the Iron Defender as your familiar, then paint him red.

Then you can rampage around the world defeating the evil warforged built by Dr. Wil... uh, the Lord of Blades and stealing their powers (wands) to increase your own range of abilities!

Do it with Warforged artificier, works better and no arcane spell failure.
if you really want to be a wizard though, take the feat at 1st that removes the plating, and the spell failure.

Warforged artificier with 2 wands in 2 wandsheaths, with no spell failure, metamagic spell trigger (quicken), and double wand weilder.
Call him the machine gun.

Which, the megaman character, or the cyborg zombie ninja pirate jedi with eye-lasers riding a (transforming?) robot dinosaur?

I think you can more closely mimic Megaman's arm cannon with the Warlock's Eldritch Blast ability.

But if you had an Unarmord Body warforged, then he just wouldn't be megaman, now would he. Artificer does work better now that I look at it. Craft Homonculous at 3, which is what you need to make an iron defender anyways. Would still have to negotiate with the DM though, one of the materail components for an Iron Defender is "1 pint of the creator's blood" :P

So? Warforged aren't robots. They are not immune to critical hits. This says to me that the warforged have their equivalent of organs, and thus their equivalent to blood.

Which, incidentally, is why I'm opposed to Unarmored Body removing the Fortification chance. That 25% crit immunity is NOT because they've got stone and metal around their body, but rather because they don't have the right anatomy for consistent sneak attacks. Removing the plates doesn't change that.

EDIT: By the way, if you're making a wand artificer, watch yourself. It's not hard to end up with 144d6 damage fired off in a round at level 9 if you know what you're doing.

You could make a Catfolk Shining Blade of Heironeous and name him Lion-O.

I stand by the bastard-sword TWF ranger with brutal throw, throw anything, EWP (BS), oversized TWF... the list goes on!

i suggest 11 ranger/4 tempest(you dont need TWF spring attack)/4 fighter/1 Master thrower (there's gotta be a useful trick for this somewhere)

Mountains? Psh. We're talking small moons here.

Literally. I calculated that the last major update to that guy was throwing a spikey ball the size of Atlas, one of Saturn's moons.

By the way, like many CO creations, it's a build. It explores game mechanics and is not meant to see normal gameplay in that degree (though lesser degrees may show up). Admit it -- Hurlers are often one-dimensional, and even before that build showed up, how many people wanted to play one?

Sides, where are they going to find a handy mountain to throw?
Serious ammo issues. :D

you'd just need to learn to fly and not to breath, then you could throw the moon :P

Ok though i would love to throw the moon aroound my DM doesn't reallly allow races that are too out there and i think goliaths and giants would fit under that description so for that wand artificier whats the feat build and what books will i need? cause I'm really liking the idea :D

Well, artificier allready gives you pretty much all the item creation feats, and in addition you want:
(1st)Adamantine body (you have no spell failure, might as well wear what is esssentially Full Plate with DR 2/adamantine)
(3rd)Quicken Spell (for use with metamagic completion)
(6th)Maximise spell (same)
(9th)Double wand weilder (to use 2 wands in the same round, Complete Arcane)
Improved Farmilliar (to get combat farmilliars as described in Complete Warrior)
I also saw Weapon Farmilliars(intelligent weapons as farmilliars) somewhere (probably races of Eberron)
other feats of note:
Wandstrike (trigger wand as part of a melee touch attack or unarmed strike)
Split Ray (fires +1 rays at +2 caster levels)
Reckless Wand Weilder (use +1 charge for +2 caster level on spell from wand)

Use these and some wands of fireball, magic missile, lightning, whatever you want.
Make sure to get a couple of wandsheaths, one per arm.
Remember, once a wand is in a wandsheath, it can only be removed once it's used up. (it automaticalls falls out in this event)

[edit] most of the metamagic feats are from Complete Arcane, the rest are PHB.
Also you'd want Eberron Campaign Setting for the Artificier.
Complete warrior has some fun Combat Farmilliars which might be usefull.
Monster Manuals I-III have some nice Golems and other Constructs that you may want to make at higher levels.

Quite some time ago (years I believe), I saw this concept hit the boards.

Spirit Shaman (or Faovred Soul) / Sorcerer / Oozemaster / Geomancer.

Not that powerful, but an amusing character to play.

His story is that he is cursed to slowly become more and more inhuman as time goes by and he advances in power. The advancement of power is (he believes) the only way to cure the curse. Take drifts (geomancer) that really make him less and less human. Take enough levels of Oozemaster to really make him slimy and creepy. Claim to be tapped into some otherworldly ... thing ... that is the source of both your powers, and of your curse. Make liberal use of Still Spell, Silent Spell and Eschew Materials. Divinations are your friend. Use spells lacking Vocal and/or Material components. (A wave of the hand and a spell effect appears to stop your enemies.) Use these things to make it seem as if you don't actually cast spells at all, rather they're all special abilities granted by that ... thing. Alter Self (or Disguise Self) to actually interact with normal civilization.

Check out Master Transmogrifist to see if that meshes with the concept as well.

Just a thought, and one character that will surely be remembered by all who played at the same table.

Cheers

Otto :)
