| Th_Ar_Al10-29-06, 07:54 PM | Hi, I want to do a Rogue Tiefling, with a "Robin hood" kind of feeling, a CG and probably will get leadership to have his "Merry men". I just thinking what to do exactly (rules) with teh characther, 2-hand or archer? should I get the Blindfight feat (he will get darkness)? Dispite that fact that he will have a cha-2 I think I give a nice cha score, also =P. It will use the point-buy sistem with 32 points. EDIT: Five rogue levels |
| myusernameis10-29-06, 10:31 PM | Swashbuckler, put that dex and int bonus to use, focus on using a pair of shortswords, blind fight isn't a bad idea. |
| Th_Ar_Al10-29-06, 11:01 PM | Are saying to use the core class or just a figth style? Can only use core stuff =p thanks for the help ^_^ |
| myusernameis10-29-06, 11:23 PM | Hm, maybe Tiefling isn't such a good race for a leader character, but if you're only allowed core stuff, rogue/wizard/arcane trickster could work to your advantage. |
| Th_Ar_Al10-30-06, 10:32 AM | I was more towards become a Duelist, but I not sure if my group have a Arcane caster, there is a heavy figther and cleric of Tyr. |
| Mecha_Pope10-30-06, 11:16 AM | Well, Robin of Loxley was an archer, and was unparraleled throughout England. His weapon of choice was the English longbow, and he carried a buckler and broad sword for back up. On some occasions, such as before a big fight, he wore chain mail. Or were you just going for the whole "Take from the rich and give to the poor" thing and not his combat style? |
| krazykelc10-30-06, 05:21 PM | i really like this character idea. screw the -2 charisma. you can deal with it with clever stat blocking. the roleplay is completely worth it- having to deal with other's negative perceptions of you, even though you are completely good and worthy of respect. nice! i think ranger/rogue would work well for this character. or maybe just straight ranger. perfect base attack bonus, bow feats, favored enemy, track, proficiency with all weapons....does the character really need sneak attack? and your added intelligence will help you get beacoup skills, which will be great for your robinhooding. good luck. |
| Th_Ar_Al10-30-06, 05:32 PM | Oh, Sorry, with "robin hood" I din't wanted a archer, but the whole "Protect the poor, and destroy tiranny" thing. xD at moment my stats are 12,18 (+1 from level 4),12,12,10,12 and lacks 6 points to spend. How good is Leadership for me? I was actually think to get a Paladin cohort!!! but is unlikely to happen, but maybe a ranger? (who hunts outsiders and hunted me once) |
| Th_Ar_Al11-02-06, 11:56 AM | Does anyone know if the Tieflings age slower than a human? |
| RodinGates11-02-06, 04:12 PM | There is no information to indicate that they do. It is assumed that they have the same lifespan as a human. From what I've read on them in the Monster Manual, Unearthed Arcana, and Races of Destiny there is no reason to believe that they do not age as regular humans since their fiendish blood is dilute and distant. |
