Recently our party entered a room with what we thought contained an Anti Magic field. However even supernatural powers did not work and neither did psionics. Does anyone know of a spell that could allow this?. Without at least some magic we cant get out of the room because the walls are made of mithral and we cant damage it....

That's still just an anti-magic field as per the RAW. It suppressing psionics, spells, spell-likes, and supernatual abilities by default. As for getting out of it just power attack. Damaging objects doesn't damage the weapon that damaged them so as long as you deal at least 16 damage with an attack you can get out. If you have an adamantine weapon then it ignores the hardness of the walls completely making it even easier.

Also, you might want to consider noting where the room is. When you can return, break it into pieces fit for transport, and sell it for a nice chunk of cash.

The spell is called Anti-Everything. It works exactly like an anti-magic field but it is a 9th level spell. I can't give you any more details because You haven't created it, yet! Just create a new spell and you'll be all set. Or, don't create a new spell. In fact, don't offer up any explanation to the group. They don't need to know how or why everything happens.

Antimagic Field will suppress all those things. Depending on your past games, Psionics may have been treated as non-magical, but the default rule of Magic-Psionics transparency treats psionics as just another magical effect, which can be Dispelled with Dispel Magic or suppressed in an Antimagic Field.

I would suggest banging on the walls and looking for a secret door. You might also consider standing on each others' shoulders and examining the ceiling.

I would suggest banging on the walls and looking for a secret door. You might also consider standing on each others' shoulders and examining the ceiling.

And take 20 on all your Search, Spot, Listen, Knowledge, and Craft checks, as well as whatever other checks you can finagle out of your DM. It's not like you're hurting for time.

Kouk's right about checking the ceiling; don't neglect the floor, either. And describe unusual search methods to the DM once you've exhausted the standard rolls -- you may well happen across a clue, and a good trap encounter should allow for creative solutions. (E.g. "I drop a pinch of the now-inert dust of appearance in my pack into the air along every corner and look for drafts in the room." Things like that.)
