| Lord Turambar02-20-05, 04:57 PM | My Dm just had a major plot twist in our campaign. the sun now appears to be perminately eclipsed and so the world is dark and we have just now struck a cease fire with the bbeg which I have been hunting for about ten levels. The reason for this is said to be neo-dragons that will come and kill all of the other dragons. the weapons of the world (FF7) have awoken to deal with this new threat. does anybody have any ideas about neodragons? |
| DracoDM0102-20-05, 05:07 PM | kill them |
| Serraco02-20-05, 05:27 PM | - Universal Solvent. LOTS of Universal Solvent. Way to use the Universal Solvent without ingesting it yourself (although applying it to the inside of the stomach of the monster will work. I think). Remember, 25 gp per use is CHEAP. - The ability to cast Prismatic Sphere, or a way in general to get the neodragons to the lowest pit in hell. How does not matter (spell, scroll, wand). Use if you have a Wizard in the party. - Some sort of trigger where a portable hole will go inside a bag of holding aimed at a neodragon without a party member getting sucked in. - As DracoDM01 said, kill them. Physically. Or mentally, whichever you prefer. |
| Lord Turambar02-20-05, 08:13 PM | Yes I think that killing them is a very good idea. the problem is that I am lvl 15 rogue/cleric. I am the highest level and I have a ecl 15 half-dragon, half celestial, bard, and finally to round out the group we have a ecl 4 winged halfling (winged template from savage species. (He chose that and gave up around a lvl 14 Vop monk) these conditions leave me wondering about what to do. we play a 3.0 game with the exception of the bard, we used 3.5 for his class. we can handle combat but there are some areas that are lacking. I cover ranged and I do almost all of the casting. The bard backs me up on casting and goes melee. and the rogue is a thief. If the neodragons don't have a fear aura then we should be able to take them but I also do not know much about them and they may very well be from a video game. |
| Callista02-20-05, 10:22 PM | man... why didn't your DM just let the halfling start at ECL 13? |
| Lord Turambar02-20-05, 10:32 PM | the bard is fairly new too and he started at ecl 15. the halfling made that character and decided that was the character that he wanted to play it is not the dm's fault in any way. |
