| ShadowProjectX808-13-05, 11:56 PM | I was just wondering, a friend of mine finally got me to try D&D, and now I'm hooked. The only problem is that him and his friends are the only ones who live around me I know of that ever play, and it seems nearly impossible to get everyone together for a game. I was thinking of just spending my days off hunting around gaming stores and hoping to bump into some people who were easier to hook up with to play... but what about the internet? Are there places on the internet where players can meet up in chat rooms and play? Does D&D even work well in a chat room (remember, I'm the new guy, I know next to nothing about this game, only that I'm hooked and I want to play more of it)? Thanks for helping the new guy. |
| Majorafire7708-14-05, 12:16 AM | www.dndonlinegames.com is a play-by-post site that is awesome. Check it out. You can also roll dice through AIM if you can find people who want to play on it. |

Either type the adress manually or click on it and delete the "www.wizard.com/" part. How fast paced are such pbm games? As I live in germany I won't be online when most US players are active. Would that pose a problem for typical pbm games? |
| SOKAR08-14-05, 10:15 AM | www.dungeononline.vze.com is an on going online D&d community. We use web rpg for our games. So far, none have gotten off the ground, but i think that is due to a lack of dedication of the players. anywho, check us out. |
