Hm. Pretty much anyone that can speak Aquan and Common could teach you, but you still need to convince them to.

I already covered this in your other post. Talk with your DM and express your desire to learn Aquan. Between the two of you, I'm sure you can find a compelling reason for your halfling to go on a quest to find someone (or something) to teach him if there isn't a tutor available to you at the moment.

Aqua-Halfling, there's a volcano erupting - what are you going to do? Nothing.

Suppose you wanted to learn Japanese. What would you do?

Your character would probably do the D&D equivalent of what you'd do in real life.

I think you'll find he meant within the campaign, rather than in real life  Where you can learn it is up to your DM, as he has ultimate control over the campaign.

Honey...that is always a bad idea. They've got a different sweetheart in every port of call.

I think you'll find he meant within the campaign, rather than in real life  Of course he did. And I meant that what a D&D character who wants to learn a language does is similar to what you or I would do in real life. You find someone who wants to teach you, you follow a course, you go to the library to pick up a coursebook or you just go to wherever the language is spoken and learn by assimilation. D&D conceivably has schools, if not necessarily ones that focus on languages, D&D has libraries, you can travel in D&D... It's the exact same thing.

also..... could i learn Aquan from a member of my party? If there's someone in our party who knows Aquan and is willing to teach you, probably. But don't ask me, ask the player. Or better yet, have you character ask that character.

My comment was directed at the OP, in response to "i already spoke with my DM and he said i have to find a way for me to learn it, so that is what i am doin" That'll teach me to forget my quotes.

Sorry for any confusion caused :)

OP is the "Original Poster".

If your DM doesn't know, then he ought not be DMing. He should have this thing under control...it's pretty simple.
