Any suggestions?

Wow, that's a crapload of spells for a 5th level character. Why do you already have some 2nd level arcane spells if your Wizard just turned 2nd level? He needs to be at least 3rd to use them.

I've found alot of spells, scroll, books and such. I think he has 4 spell books now. One is mine, two are preivous casters that have passed on, and one was a treasure reward, plus my Pray book from Archivist. Took me three weeks before I successfully mastered one of the damn books.

I can't USE said spells but I'm able to copy them into my book, without problem.

Well, as far as first level arcane spells go, you've already got the cream of the crop. I'd pick up Ray of Clumsiness (the Dex counterpart to Ray of Enfeeblement from SC), but aside from that, you'd have to comb through Dragon Magazine to find a killer spell you don't have.

It's something that goes unnoticed quite a bit, especially if you're used to how it worked in previous editions, but 3E's rules on learning new spells as a wizard don't actually require you to be of high enough level to cast them in order to learn them. A 1st level wizard could add a 9th level spell to his spellbook if he was somehow able to pass the Spellcraft check. It'd just be a very long time before he could actually make use of it.

Yep, I'm actaully more aware of that, but I'm aimming my sights for spell levels that I can use. The MT route is splitting my usable spell level as-is.
