Pigmoxeo 02-12-06, 07:58 PM	I just started dnd, and i bought the basic game with the advanced rule book. Im starting an actual character now, and ive found everything i need that has to do with stats and skills and stuff but armor class and initiative. How do i find out how much armor class and initiative my character will have? ( if its said in another thread or page, please just give me a link there)
DeadKeepWalking 02-12-06, 08:21 PM	Your character's DEX bonus is his initiative. Your AC is 10 + your DEX bonus (up to max DEX of armor you are wearing) + AC of armor you are wearing + AC of shield All this should be in fine print on your character sheet.
Nom 02-12-06, 09:04 PM	Your character's DEX bonus is his initiative.Nit-pick, but that's his initiative bonus (which is what the space on the sheet is for). His actual initiative is rolled afresh at the start of each combat.
