| Puggins09-01-07, 07:25 PM | You'd only have what you got at 10th level. But your DM may let you "spend" the previous bonus xp on items that you crafted. At least for the last couple of levels, anyway, say 7th through 9th level. |
| StevenO09-01-07, 10:21 PM | Second the you only have your 10th level supply of XP to work with now. I also agree that the DM should let you "spend" some/most of your previous XP on magic Items. Somewhere I've read that when starting above 1st level a DM should give each player so much experience, say 46000, instead of just assigning them a level, 10th in this case, because then you can "spend" part of that XP on things like magic items you created or possible permanent spells. Granting XP instead of level allows a player the have a legacy of item creation by spending some of that on item creation along with the gold they start with. |
