| Belljar09-15-07, 06:25 PM | Does anyone know if there is a feat out there that allows Bards to retain Bard class feature progression while taking levels in other classes? (i.e. Inspire Courage bonus progression, access to Bardic music powers, Bardic Knowledge) I have a vague memory of reading something somewhere, but have checked Complete Mage, Scoundrel, Arcane, Adventurer, Races of the Dragon, and Destiny to no avail. |
| Kalai_Eljahn09-15-07, 07:17 PM | Try Complete Warrior, random though it seems. I know there's a feat a rogue/monk in my party should take that's in either Adventurer or Warrior...or try and get it houseruled or look into classes which stack with bard (PrC is the only thing I can recall off the top of my head). |
| wizardguy200309-16-07, 02:10 AM | Honestly, the only thing I can think of is Gestalting them with another class. |
| Kamin_Majere09-16-07, 07:12 AM | Make one up. Something like Silver Tongued Bard and Rogue levels stack for the purposes of Bardic music per day, inspire courage, and bardic knowledge. Give it some decent prereq's and ask your DM to allow it. You could reasonablly make a feat like this for a good number of diffrent classes with out too much trouble |
| Eater_Of_Souls09-16-07, 11:45 AM | Have you checked the "song and silence", but most common way is to take a "bardic" prestige class. In regards to multiclassing bardic abilities are no different from other class abilities (spell progression and such) and should remain so. |
| Empirate09-17-07, 09:15 AM | Practiced Spellcaster already does a small part of what you ask. You could invent other Feats along the same lines, like "Practiced Musician", "Practiced Bardic Lorekeeper" or whatever, to extend the benefits to other Bard class features. |
