I realize that a bard's job is a support one meant to boost up everyone else but I still find myself feeling left out of combat. My DM has done a lot for me so I don't want to whine to him about it, but I was just wondering if anyone had some ideas on how I could do a bit more damage by modifying my own character. I see some guys in my party doing 30+ points of damage and being 3 levels below me while my attack almost never hits and my damage seems to max out at 10. I'm a level 13 bard. Feats or Class suggestions appreciated |

As a bard, I wouldn't count on beating 30+ damage, however you could charm your way around encounters. Use Fascinate...a lot. Its a really, really good ability. Especialy when you get to add suggestion to it. There are some decent music feats available in the Complete Adventurer and I reckon Arcane Strike is a good ability too. Like the Warmage, you can get the Improved Armour feat or whatever its called, that will let you cast in medium armour without the ASF. I think its in the Complete Arcane. |
