| Big__Chops09-18-04, 11:09 PM | I am still learning 3.5 (read:grognard)and am unsure of the whole base attack bouns thing. To make matters worse I only have the 3.0 PHB and DMG for guidance at this late hour. I firstly want to know what qualifies as a base attack bonus? Can I use the Base Attack Bouns for missle attacks as a basis for qualifying for Prestiege classes? The thing is I am a Wizard/Elf Paragon and I am Level 2/3. Now im unsure of what my current Base Attack bouns but I am considering 1 level of Bladesinger. I got a Dex (missile)Attack Bouns of +3 and respectable (missile attack) bonuses for being and elf and for being a Paragon. All I know is I am lacking martial prowess and I find myself needing some combat skill if I am to survive. Any ideas??? |

Add that to any base attack bonus you get from elf paragon (Note, I don't know how paragons work so they might not give base attack bonuses) |

Do not add up the numbers above your level in either class This is your base attack bonus. Do not add anything further to it. |

"Attack bonus" is like modified THACO: it includes strength/dex bonuses, magical adjustments, etc. I don't think that there are any prestige classes that have an attack bonus requirement, but there sure are a lot that have a base attack bonus requirement. |
