Does this automaticly add to the base of the monk. Say for instance, at lvl 1 monk, the base attack would be upped to 6 instead of the usual 0? |

You don't add the monk levels to the outsider, you add the base attack bonuses. Level 5 outsider = +5 base attack, saves +4/+4/+4. Level 1 monk = +0 base attack, saves +2/+2/+2. You: Level 5 outsider + Level 1 monk = (5+0) base attack, saves (4+2): +5 base attack, +6/+6/+6 saves. |

Base attack is 6 and all three saves are 5. Does this automaticly add to the base of the monk. Say for instance, at lvl 1 monk, the base attack would be upped to 6 instead of the usual 0?Yes, but remember a Hound Archon Monk 1 has an Effective Character Level (ECL) of 12. BAB +6 flurry of blows (+4/+4) Fort +7 Ref +7 Will +7 |
