| chefcyric2309-17-07, 08:46 AM | I feel silly for asking, but just in case Im thinking wrong on this. My character is starting off with a +6 BA cause of what I choosen. When I go into fighter, that adds on to the BA there? But what happens when I get my second attack. Does my second attack get +6 or anything? Also when if I ever get to epic, theres the epic feat that adds +1 to the BA, is that for each attack or just the first as well? I think ive been looking over the books so much, my minds scrambled. And thanks in advance. |

Next time your B.A.B. increases, all of your iterative attacks get this benefit (i.e. it becomes +7/+2). So just add up your B.A.B. from all sources, and for every five points, you get an additional attack with a cumulative -5 to hit. The epic feat doesn't provide a bonus to B.A.B. It adds +1 to hit for all your attacks. |

If you're starting with a +6 BAB before classes then I'm guessing you're playing some kind of monstrous race with racial hit dice? Just make sure you're using the BAB to determine extra attacks, then figure out your total attack bonuses for each attack by adding on the extra bonuses (like STR). |

A hound Archon had 6 racial HD and a +5 LA, so before any class levels you are already at ECL 11. As far as BAB goes. You add together your BAB from all sources. Subtract 5 from it, if it yields a positive number, then you get a second attack. continue this until you end up with 0 or lower. Example: A BAB of +13 also has second and third attacks at +8 and +3. |
