| fullmetal8011008-20-06, 11:51 PM | I am playing a warlock and due to other party members "smart" actions we almost had a tpk, I was only one who lived. But lost all my equipment during start, I have the clothes on my back. I am 4th level and rest of party is 3rd, anyway I am trying to decide some good equip to pick up for a warlock, i need to find cheap/effective equip. Thx for help. |

Also check out that "Best way to spend 20 gp" thread. Honestly, you'll do fine. If your new party is going after the thing that TPKed your old then you'll probably get most of your old gear back. If not, oh well. Most of your equip could easily get replaced in a level or two. |

| Titan W08-24-06, 09:52 PM | Well you should be able to do some odd jobs (adventuer style) for some lower level encounters to build up your wealth, then pick up some very light armor (ASF) and some scrolls, honestly the main focus of a warlock would be the use of invocations and EB and later crafting. (Also casting from magic items like wands or scrolls) So really you have 2/3 of your primary abilities still, if you chose your invocations well you shouldn't be in that deep, so a lot of this depends on what invocations you have (If you went totally offensive your're probably more in deep than if you split between offense and defense in your invocations). |
