| Toxiticus12-08-03, 03:13 PM | Im starting a new campaign(3e) and I want to play a Human Bard who is blind, I'm figuring this will be a good roleplaying advantage, seeing as my dm is pretty new and is not very good at the roleplaying aspect:( and that it might help her in that area. But I was wondering if this would be a good idea, and maybe some things that would make the character able to use the blindness to an advantage or a way to make the character a tad bit more playable. :smirk:And I was considering instead of a blind bard but a mute one who tells stories and stuff through illusions derived from the music he plays on his piccalo. Any Ideas would by greatly apprecaited |

Bats don't use sight they use that radar sound thing. And since they comunicate telepathicly with you it could tell you where everyone around you is. Even in darkness. So if you can lure a creature into a globe of darkness you wont be at any disadvantage (besides the one you allready had) but your oppoent sure will be. Oh and i'd get a lot of ranks in listen and none in spot :) |
