Satans Spawn 11-19-04, 07:13 AM	After going through this forum a little, I decided that since I am bored, I will make a character and post him up here as I saw some other people do it as well. So feel free to comment on him. Stats rolled: 10 10 8 14 14 10 With these stats I decided to go Rogue. The race I went with was human for the extra feat and skill point. The concept in mind for him currently is a street kid, I haven't gotten into too much detail yet, so I don't really have any more than that. After distributing my stats I ended up with: Str - 10 Dex - 14 Con - 10 Wis - 8 Int - 14 Cha - 10 Hp - 5 AC - 15(+1 Luck of Heroes Feat, +2 Leather Armor, +2 Dex) Saves: Fort - 1 (+1 Luck of Heroes) Ref - 5 (+2 base, +2 Dex, +1 Luck of Heroes) Will - 0 (-1 Wis, +1 Luck of Heroes) Weapons: Dagger - -2 to hit - 1d4 Damage (+1d6 sneak attack if applicable) Hand Crossbow - +2 to hit - 1d4 Damage (+1d6 sneak attack if applicable) Skills: Bluff - 4 (4 ranks) Diplomacy - 4 (4 ranks) Hide - 6 (4 ranks, 2 Dex) Move Silent - 6 (4 ranks, 2 Dex) Tumble - 7 (4 ranks, 2 Dex, Illiterate trait) Sleight of Hand - 6 (4 ranks, 2 Dex) Knowledge (local) - 4 (4 ranks) Open lock - 6 (4 ranks, 2 Dex) Search - 6 (4 ranks, 2 Int) Disable Device - 6 (4 ranks, 2 Int) Listen - 3 (4 ranks, -1 Wis) Feats: Luck of Heroes (Player's guide to Faerun) Point Blank Shot If Flaws and Traits are allowed: Rapid Reload Far Shot Flaws taken: Noncombatant (As a child his mother was abused by his father, and every time he attacks with a sword or otherwise he has memories of this and stumbles for a brief moment) Frail (Not much in the way of nourishment tends to have this effect on people) Traits: Illiterate Skinny Alignment: CN Name: Comodel Runs around with a Half-Orc names Masu Conked... more will be explained later, for now I am going to go to bed.
Board_Rider 11-19-04, 12:04 PM	Not bad. I would HATE to have to make a Will save though. Were you planning on using this character? Or really just bored as you said. I don't know what types of campaigns you run but this character would probably be a reroll in one of my games. But if you like him...go with it.
Satans Spawn 11-19-04, 04:45 PM	I might use him depending on circumstance, but chances are I won't. The campaigns that I play in are usually crappy due to the fact that the stats are set, usually at 3-18's a 12 and 2-10's, and we can change them around to suit... no challenge in that, because it all becomes a game of min/maxing and then the battles are no fun anymore. Also since Gestalting came out, that is all we have played so a "base" character like this is pretty useless to me, although I am working on a campaign that I will be running, so I may use him as an NPC or something. About the willsave, that's nothin, I have made a couple fighters with a -2 or -3 to will saves. Those are... interesting to say the least. It adds a little bit of a challenge when playing with a high point stack such as that. Another reason other than the points that I rolled that I chose to make a rogue was because i have only ever made one other rogue... and I did the worse job at it ever. I was still fairly new to playing, and I decided I wanted to try a trap-springer and... let's just say it didn't go over well. I kinda forgot to take the search skill, so I ended up losing my primary hand, and I barely made it out of the dungeon alive, I think I had 0 hp when we left it... It was fun because it was a rolled point stack I think so it was all good there. I do like this one a lot better though. --§--
