I've always wondered, if I were, say, a Thri-kreen from the XPH, could I wield TWO bows? Since it does say it's possible to wield two double weapons (says off-hand weapons are considered one-handed instead of light though).

If it is possible (since I'm fairly certain there's no rule against TWF with ranged weapons, I think you can TWF with hand crossbows), what would the penalty be? A penalty is given for fighting with two one-handed weapons, or with a weapon that is light, but with two two-handed weapons?

Yes, it is possible. The Arrow Demon from Monster Manual 3 uses 2 bows too. Very nasty indeed.

Thanks, I'll have to ask a friend about how the penalties for that work (I don't have any MMs other than the first).

In SS it says that anything with with four or more arms and Multiweapon Fighting can use wto double weapons at once.

A bow isn't too different that a double weapon so as long as he has the feat it seems like it would be just like Two Weapon Fighting but with bows.

By the way, is that the BattleTech Jamie Wolf?
