I'm tinkering with a character idea, and I'm looking for the various ways a player character could gain a breath weapon. So far, I know of:
being a half-dragon (or becoming one through the Dragon Disciple prestige class)
being a Dragonborn of Bahamut with the heart aspect
taking levels in the Dragon Samurai prestige class
being a sorcerer and taking the Draconic Breath feat
learning the dragon breath spell
taking at least 4 levels of the Dragon Shaman base class
taking all 10 levels of the Drunken Master prestige class
learning the Winter Mask totemist soulmeld and binding it to the throat chakra
Are there any others?

The Draconic Heritage feat collection has a feat somewhere in there to do with dragon breath weapons, I'm quite sure about that.

You could also take the Dragon Breath spell. There are two different versions, one in the Draconomicon and the other in the Spell Compendenium. The SC version is the nerfed-down, rebalanced version of the Draco version, but both will give you the breath weapon you are looking for if you plan on playing a spellcaster.

I believe the PHBII's Dragon Shaman base class includes a breath weapon, but I haven't looked closely at that class. I'll take a look when I get home.

Ah, yet another reason to get the PHB2! I'm glad Wizards rebounded so well from the train wreck that was the Complete Psionic. Please do let us know if it is the case for the Dragon Shaman.

Having checked the book, the Dragon Shaman gains a breath weapon from 4th level, its shape and energy type corresponding to his totem dragon. It starts out as 2d6 damage, then gains an extra d6 every second level. Its area doubles at 12th level, then again at 20th level.

Totemists from magic of incarnum can get some pretty nice breath weapons with the right soulmelds. The winter mask is particularly nice one with a 15 ft cone of cold which deals 2D6 damage plus 2D6 more per point of essentia and can be used every 1D4 rounds. However I believe all of the totemist breath weapons require you to bind them to you throat chakra so you won't be able to one until level 11 (I think).

Ha, I'd forgotten about the Drunken Master ability.

Also, I suppose I'm not surprised that there's an Incarnum ability for it, but every time I try to read that book it makes my head hurt. It seems really interesting, but I just can't wrap my head around it all. :(
