| CradleofLife09-25-06, 09:25 PM | Okay so I want some help. I'm a new player and would like some advice on how to play fairly well. I'm playing a lvl 1 human paladin and my firend is playing a lvl 1 elven wizard. We're using the third edition rules and doing a search and rescue run. Basically a goblin mob had kidnapped a local lord and we've been hired to rescue the poor chap. So... any advice? |

Pretty much find out where they are and plow through them till the end. Pally fight the brunt and wizard zap them from a distance. Add a couple of subdual swings to some of the weakened mobs so you can revive and interrogate them later. Otherwise, I'd just say smash and grab, get the lord and get out of there. |

Might be someone with a sketch of the lair or some such thing that can come in handy, if not a helpful (but greedy) soul that might be willing to help scout and such. |
