Can a Warlock take advantage of any metamagic feats? For example Maximize, Quicken, or empower? If so how would the level adjustment work?

A warlock does not prepair or cast spells.
A warlock's invocations are spell-like abilities.

Read the first paragraph, second column, page 7 CAr
"Since spell-like abilities are not actually spells..." etc.

So no, you can't have the metamagic feats, but you can have the feats from MM that does the same thing for spell-like abilities.

Page 71 of the Complete Arcane says that Sudden Metamagic feats work perfectly well with a warlock's invocations, because they don't take up any spell slots.

Granted, you will find the feats in the MM to be more useful, but there's a wider selection in the 'Sudden' range.

So does anything that effect spell like abilities work for there eldritch blasts? So you can use a sudden quicken spell for an eldritch blast?

Yes, you can use Sudden Metamagic on them. And Meta-Spell Like ability feats.
