In some campaigns it is okay to have every hybrid, half-breed and template that is in the books added to a single character and then just let it loose. Personally I don't even allow all core races from the PHB into my campaigns, but I do give good reasons as to why this is so. It can be a very fun experience to play a monstrous creature as a PC. The problems that usually come up are social, religious and lawful in nature. On the other hand if you have a creature that has a very high Level Adjustment, then you are stuck with basically playing the same "level" for a whole lot of time, while everyone else is gaining new skills, abilities, feats, spells, hitpoints and all the rest of the stuff that is associated with level advancement. This isn't to say that monsters aren't without their benefits, especially if you are running around in a more rural surrounding. |

They can also be easily trained, and can be come quite skilled in a variety of areas. In fact, these creatures almost seem _designed_ to cross-train in multiple areas, giving them unheard-of flexibility. Consider adding a human to _your_ team today. |
