Obviously, I'll be spending a lot of time on the open water in a ship, so that should probably be taken into consideration (or maybe not, I don't know). The ranger levels use two-weapon combat as the combat style, and my favored enemies are going to be aquatic humanoids +4, humans +2. My skills are Balance, Climb, Handle Animal, Hide, Knowledge (geography), Move Silently, Profession (sailor), Search, Spot, Survival, Swim, and Use Rope. My animal companion is a dolphin. I get the following feats automatically--Track, Two-Weapon Fighting, Improved Two-Weapon Fighting, and Great Captain (from Stormwrack). In the party, I guess I would be the leader type on a ship, for obvious reasons, but on shore I'm just another fighter-type with no ambitions to be in charge. The rest of the party is another rogue, a cleric of Pelor, and a wizard (conjurer). Thanks for any help you send my way. |

Weapon Focus can be a good choice if you have the same weapon in each hand (a pair of shortswords, for example). Improved Initiative is always good for a rogue character looking to go first in combat so he can get his sneak attack in easily enough. With your build your Will save is going to be in the tank; Iron Will would certainly be useful to cover up that weakness. |
