What I have so far is that she wants to be infamous and does not want to be part of an Assassin's guild. The campaign is pretty high-magic and very open, all source books are available. What are some good options once the Assassin class has been completed? Are there any good combos with equipment and class abilities that are Assassin-esque? Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated. Thank you! |

One common gola for evil characters is to become powerful. Chaotic is against law. Your character might try to topple a good-aligned kingdom. Hope this helps. |

If you really want to be an assassin (lower case), keep those two and Disable Device and Open Lock very high, invest in tools, look for weird wondrous items to help out, and make your weapon something very good at coup de grace type situations. After Assassin, look at A) full BAB classes, like Nightsong Enforcer, and B) ways to create situations for your abilities. Having a high-health companion (animal, undead, construct, whatever) with lots of AC is good for flanking. And flanking is good for you. Or look at stuff like Ghost-Faced Killer, ways to become even sneakier. Aside from that, definitely look into magic effects that can give you coup de graces. Paralyze is a big one. You want paralyzing poisons, spells, you want a pet ghast if you can somehow manage that. Stay away from normal poison; they're expensive and they only make people easier to kill, but at the same time let them know they're about to be. |

Personally, I would strongly recommend starting with a good-aligned character (unless this is a totally evil campaign), and with one of the basic classes. That will give you time to get familiar with game mechanics and focus on the role-playing side of things... FWIW |
