Shyunal Drakaven 12-14-04, 10:28 AM	I've never actually played a game before, or made a character, and I'm looking for help. My character is a CN Female Elf Barbarian (She was raised by orcs after being captured by them as a young girl. She fought to survive and to earn their respect, and she prefers the company of Orcs to the company of Elves.) Stats (after racial adjustments) are Str 17, Dex 15, Con 13, Int 12, Wis 11, Armor: Leather armor (AC +2) Weapons: Battleaxe, Shortbow, 4 daggers Gear: Backpack with waterskin, one day's trail rations, bedroll, sack, and flint w/ steel. Quiver w/ 40 arrows. Skills: (After ability and racial modifiers and added in): Climb +7, Survival +4, Listen +4, Jump +7, Swim +7, Intimidate +3, Search +2, Spot +2 Feat: Power Attack Languages: Common, Elvish, Orc Age: 57 Height: 5'2" Weight: 120 Hair: Gold and short Eyes: Steel blue I was just wondering if I was missing anything, or if my selections were absolutly stupid, or any other feedback. Board_Rider 12-14-04, 11:29 AM	Also, abit young for an elf...57. Did you roll that? Thats just small stuff though. I like the character concept but I think it is a bit reaching myself. Why would the Orcs keep your PC around as a child? As a character POV I don't see anything wrong, besides the aformentioned CHA score, and you could have fun with it.
Shyunal Drakaven 12-14-04, 11:49 AM	Whoops. Make that 12 Cha, forgot to stick that number in there. I didn't do random generation for the character's height, age, weight. I guess 57 is bit low, maybe 69 - she is supposed to be a bit young. As for why the orcs would keep her around - I wasn't sure if I could say it on the normal forums. Let's just say the orc cheif liked very young elves alot, and leave it at that. Thanks for the feedback. I intend to have fun with it - I like playing against type. :)

I mean elfs and orcs don't really get along and because of that situation I just can't figure why the female elf would aim to please. I would think that she would rebel. But whatever...good luck.
Glime 12-14-04, 12:25 PM	Becareful how you choose to proceed with that type of background. If something like that did happen, it could lead to very complex situations in the game. Elves and Orcs naturally hate each other, and with something like this happening to her at such a young age.... I would think that there would be some malice towards all Orcs and even Half-Orcs. Maybe even a fear towards there kind. And even 69 is quite young, Elves reach maturity at 110. So anything below 90 is really young for an adventuring Elf.
