Hi. I been racking my brain for a while figuring what would be the best route to go with the new campaign I'm going to be playing. The DM is letting us start off at 10 and I decided I want to go with a soulknife.

My ideas right now are making a githzerai 10th lvl soulknife, using a mithril +4 ac, along with his ineratial armor and insane dex to have about 27-28 ac, not including other stuffs. Using an armor, I'd get to put speed of thought to good use, too.

Another idea with the githzerai was to get 1 lvl monk, 9 soulknife, for the wis AC bonus monks get, going armorless. They seem to balance out, unless im missing some feats I could use for no armor.

And last, I was thinking of going with a xeph, 2 lvl wilder, 8 soulknife. He'd get a few wilder spells, along with inertial armor with a decent bonus from power points.

Any ideas? Maybe I'm just too over analytical...

Go with 10th lvl Soulknife, though the Xeph might be a better choice of race.

You think so? It seems like githzerai outmatch them in everything except speed.

Purely personal preference, I like Xeph. Gith can't be trusted. Oh they act all sweet and innocent, but when you've seen what I've seen..... :twitch:

Githzerai have a LA of +2, so you'd be only Soulknife 8. The Xeph doesn't have an LA, and it can use that Burst ability. (if memory serves me correct, don't have my PsiHandbook handy.
