| SeriousMike10-03-06, 09:20 PM | Im new to dnd and i chose to start out with version 3.0 and im having trouble creating a charactor. I read on the boards of all these crazy sounding races and classes and wonder where they come from. Can i make a charactor outside the phb and if i do how would i find out how to level it? |
| Magus Gar Kan10-03-06, 11:28 PM | Welcome! You are not restricted to the phb in the least. All of these classes races spells etc exist in books, you just have to buy them, or get a friend who owns them and borrow them. There's a catch however, the game has moved on to 3.5 edition, a revision of the origional 3.0 rules, and all of the material being put out is in support of it. Now having said that, are you the DM or just a player? If you are not the DM, ask him for help. It is possible that the DM has his own preference of source material. |
