Class Choice [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-08-06, 05:05 PM Ok, I'm a bit confused on what class to play. The group has a cleric, rogue, monk and wizard. So all the primary roles seem to be covered, any advice?

It's a core class only campaign for base classes, and I'm only level 2 so don't suggest PRCs please.

07-08-06, 05:09 PM The party doesn't really have much in the way of a tank/heavy melee damage dealer. I would recommend a Knight or a Fighter.

07-08-06, 05:10 PM ^ Agreed, fighter, paladin, barbarian, really anything with a d10 or d12 hitdie and full BAB.

07-09-06, 12:52 AM if you want to help the casters be a hexblade. if you want to do the damage, be a fighter with a spiked chain, and combat reflexes with weapon spec on the chain. its dirty. you would protect them all
