Well I narrowed my choices down.

I want to pick from the following classes: Ranger, Rogue, Bard, Wizard, Fighter, Barbarian, Monk, or a psionic class.

The party has the following: 2 Clerics (one blaster and one melee), a fighter/barbarian/ranger/bear warrior, and a dervish.

I know the party needs a rogue and a wizard, and perhaps even a cleric that heals. But I don't really like playing gish characters, and I'm not fond of Mystic Theurge and Arcane Trickster like classes. So I want to specialize.

I was thinking If I played a healing oriented cleric I would take the kobold domain for trapfinding.

Thats your list narrowed down???....I'd say maybe Bard. He fills in the spots that airnt, sneaking around, arcane magic, healing (to a point), Buffs, Diplomatic help. If you look in Complete Adventurer there are some good barb spells that can be cast as imediate actions, giving you a boost of speed or AC (I belive) at the spur of the moment and you can go on your merry way.

Take human rogue with the able learner feat and a maxed out use magic device skill.

mmmmm.... skill goodness, a part of a nutritious breakfast.

Go wizard. The party can use it and you can be of great help in the knowledge skills at the VERY least. Don't bother with another cleric, the two you already have will be able to do plenty of healing.

Also a wizard is a great party buffer. Just spend all your actions helping out the heavy tank. Things like Haste, enlarge, bull's strength and blur all will make him your best friend.

Yes, thats the list of classes I would like to be, not ones I DON'T want to be :D

I would appreciate any input from anyone else.

I'd have to agree with Bard. It fits the roles your party seems to be missing, and are just FUN to play. Wizard's definatly a good second choice though, IMO.

If you've got two clerics you've already got healing potential.

High Int, high Cha rogue with maxed out UMD for wizard and other magic items, and any skills the party is lacking. I've played the party 'arcanist' in a group that had no spellcasters at all like that once, and it actually worked out pretty well.

Note: make sure your skill set includes a big helping of stuff-stealing skills - being the party wizard when needed, solely through UMD and charged items, gets expensive otherwise.
