I am decent at DnD but I don't know how to properly balance a class so that it is not easily overpowered while still useful. Basically, we can choose a character to base our design off of or just be that character. I'm thinking I'll try Himura Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin which is beeing shown on Cartoon Network as of late (although I've seen more than what CN showed). I've been looking at the samurai in the complete warrior to get some ideas but I don't know how to incorporate some of Kenshin's moves. My main problem is determining a fair amount of damage or additional effects each of the attacks may do. Our DM gets the final say in what's fair but we can only multiclass or prestige in classes close to the original character (in my case a samurai type class or the Iaijutsu from OA). (If this is not the right board to ask this in then sorry.) |

I would check those threads. Or maybe even the Character Optimization Boards. You may get some help here though as well. But I would check those out too. Good luck buddy....
