| Rarus12-13-04, 05:17 PM | I seem to be having the problem I have in every campaign; character design. Simply put, I'm in one of those scenarios where I simply can't make up my mind, so I have other people decide for me. Anyways, I'm about to start a new campaign with a (somewhat) old gaming group, and I can't decide what class I want my character to be! So I just decided to request some opinions from other players. So far, the only restriction is no psionics, which the DM has banned. Here are some things to consider: One of our players, who prefers things like barbarians and fighters, is known to attack other party members who have something he wants. The party will already have a wizard, barbarian, and something else (I don't know what) The DM often awards the party with outrageously powerful items at little or no cost. I really like PrCs The DM's only books are the DM's guide and the Player's Handbook, but he allows stuff from other books that the players have. I am the only player who actually has books. The books available to me are: All DnD SRD's Book of Vile Darkness Book of Exhaulted Deeds Manual of the Planes Planar Handbook Serpent Kingdoms Libris Mortis Draconomicon Complete Divine Complete Arcane Tome and Blood Defenders of the Faith Song and Silence Masters of the Wild Sword and Fist Oriental Adventures Savage Species Thanks for your help. |
