Long story short she changes alignments and wants to be ordaned as a cleric of Cubert. Does she start off at lvl 1 again or continue as a lvl 5 cleric with a change of domains. If there are spelling or grammar errors please excuse. |
| Reversefigure409-08-06, 08:16 PM | Continue as a Level 5 Cleric, simply changing your domains, deity, and probably alignment as well. |
| greatamericanfolkhero09-08-06, 08:26 PM | This might also require an atonement from a priest of the new god. |
| Millennium09-08-06, 08:58 PM | When you renounce your faith in Lolth, you're going to lose your powers; there's no way around that. The Church of St Cuthbert may ask you to do a quest for them sans class-features first, to demonstrate that you are sincere in your faith. After that, though, they'll likely reinstate you at your previous cleric level. Your domains, turning, and alignment will be different, but instead of being a Level 5 cleric of Lolth you'll be a Level 5 cleric of St Cuthbert. At least, this is the way it's usually done. Until PHB2 there were no official mechanics for divine conversion, and PHB2 isn't actually core, but this is how most DMs have done it for a long time. Even PHB2's system basically just codified this longstanding practice. |
