| friedmad01-15-07, 09:24 AM | Can someone tell me where in the rules it says good-aligned clerics can turn evil clerics of other faiths, and can even turn evil outsiders as if they were undead? My DM and I insist we read that in the rules somewhere but we cant find it. Thanks |
| CryoSilver01-15-07, 09:28 AM | They can't. |
| Cifer01-15-07, 09:29 AM | Evil clerics: Never, at least not by virtue of them being clerics. Evil outsiders: There are ways to turn stuff other than undead, usually by getting a certain domain, a feat or a prestige class. Knight of the Chalice has somethin that is a bit like turning vs. outsiders, but not exactly that. Usual clerics, however, can turn/rebuke only undead. |
| friedmad01-15-07, 09:38 AM | I found it - its in DMG on 210 - its an epic feat... |
| Witch01-15-07, 09:42 AM | That's not clerics. That's outsiders. |
| Ilthorin01-15-07, 11:12 AM | Your Dm may be getting that idea from 2nd edition. There was an alternate rule published in a dragon magazine i think.. Anyway it allowed good and evil clerics to turn each other as well as evil clerics to turn paladins. |
