code key for order of the stick [Archive] - Wizards Community

Ive tried to break the code for Halley from order of the stick with no sucsess.

Does anybody have the key? :confused: :confused:

07-17-06, 02:20 AM It's a simple letter-substitution, but it varies from strip to strip. I worked out the substitution for the strip where she confessed a bunch of stuff to Elan in the restaurant, but the same key ended up not applying to other strips.

If you want to go to the trouble of breaking each substitution, look for three-letter groups in what she says, those'll usually either be "the" or "and", try applying them to other words and see what comes out, then work out the rest of the letters from context.

Is anyone else sick of the cryptogram-dialogue? Burlew definitely needs to end it soon. I'm getting to the point that i just want to stab my eyes with hot soldering irons when i see it. :eek:

07-17-06, 07:30 AM VERY sick of it personally. It's been 75 strips since Haley said anything in legible Common. It's gotten to the point now where I stop bothering to look for crypto translations account of I really don't care anymore.
