DungeonKeeper 01-01-05, 11:07 PM	I have been playing dungeons and dragons since the very beginning. Starting with Men and Magic and Arduin, then DND, the 1st edition ADND and a little bit of 2nd edition. I have not played much 3rd edition tho but I now have the books. The question of the day is this: What site can I goto or what program can I get that will convert my 1st edition characters to 3rd edition (or 3.5)? I used to use the Core Rules games, but they are gone now and the community there only supports 2nd edition. I just do not want a long arduous process to convert each of my hundreds of characters. I would like to convert them and then store the character sheets online for dnd games I play on the net. Ideas?
gnomedaddy 01-01-05, 11:15 PM	ask the people you play online with about it. Most likely they would know. Its great that you've been playing since the very start. I started about 3 years ago and its already good. I cant imagine how it was at the start

The problem with asking the people I play with is that all of them started with 3rd edition and none of them have any idea what I am talking about. Any help you can be would be appreciated.
RPGfish 01-02-05, 12:22 AM	Really, just change the spells around to their closest match and put skills into the right places.
Aeromus 01-02-05, 11:56 AM	It's hard to convert them. Like a Fighter with a 9 int, gets a 9....but a wizard with a 9 gets a 14.... It won't convert correctly, especially multiclass/dual class chars.
