Yeah, that name kicks the crap out of all the Grogs and Uggs and Urrs out there.

Harmor,
nothing wrong with star trek.:) Sounds like a brilliant man you know.

also,
I have had a DM who refers to all his brutes (especially ogre-ish types) with hard G sounds. To top him on the gutteral name game i played a half-orc barbarian in a game who's name was....

Grim-gar-garius-gregorius.

yeah.

Grignak.

He was sort of an elite warrior (barbarian/fighter) of the tribe and the champion. He fought the PCs in semi-honorable combat while the rest of the orcs chanted his name. :D

A friend is playing a half-orc in the same game as Fumbuk. His character's name is Bob Roberts.

That's is cheesily common.:)

someone mentioned klingons,
that's a little funny because i am playing him like Worf. He is a neutral aligned Orc. His camp got killed by gnomes (after several raids by them first i am sure), he was a baby, they took him and raised him. He has his racial instincts and rituals that he does not bury and tries to understand better. The same time he balances that with behaving in a civilized world.

Anyway,
That is what i came up with when the DM said the group can not be evil. He is very Worf like.

i had a half orc barbarian/rouge who ended around level 17. Named him Xia Feng. Now i got the running gag of him being a pokemon. He used the full blade back in 3.0

My current Half-Orc paladin is named Grudnuk. He rides a Large Dire Weasel special mount called Scruffles.

The backup character I am considering springing on the party if ever I'm feeling nasty is a Half-Orc Bard whose Perform style is 'slapstick comedy'.

He's called Krusky the Klown.

Well, if you still need the answer, I think that the SRD has it. My PHB is awhol, but if I can find it I will tell you.

P.S. I belive that it is in chapters threee or four in the PHB. If you have one check around there.

Wait I found my PHB.

Adulthood: 14 years old.

Middle Age: 30

Old: 45

Vererable: 60

Maximum Age: +2d10 years.

And am I right in guessing that his class is Barbarian. If so and you want to randomly choose his age, then add 14 + 1d4.

Actually that is the lifespan of HALF-Orcs.
I don't think Orcs' lifespans are mentioned anywhere in the core books.

Races of Renown by Green Ronin Publishing suggested this for Orcs:

Adulthood: 13
Middle Age: 25
Old: 35
Vererable: 50

Maximum Age: +2d8 years.

Never played a half-orc myself, but I've had them in my characters' parties.

Arok Duun, Half-Orc Fighter. Apparently he gets his good looks from his father.

Plug, Half-Orc Bard. Author of the the hit song "Horse on a Boat"

Penny Johnson, Half-Orc Bard. Her mother was raped by orcs during an attack on the city. Her mother's husband, a professer at the local university raised Penny as his own daughter.

Dalamar Terrence, Half-Orc Paladin. Penny's cousin, unfortunatly, he was dumb as a sack of bricks and was later conned into selling druids to dragons as a source of food.

Maedras Ramyr could never be caught unaware, let alone killed by the likes of you, Aamra-di. I should think that the lords of fallen Shador would take greater care with their words. Godless as you are, I might even be tempted to pray, for who else but merciful deities will save you if the pale wizard should see your post?

And to answer your question. I know all of the uses for half-orcs,
and though they are few, you may have need of at least one of their ilk sooner than you expect.

Well, In a game I was DMing, my brother played a half-orc Grock. He was killed, so his next half-orc was Grock II, but his rolls made him "Helpless" so he said he became a farmer and rolled up Grock III.

EDIT: And in responce to the orc ageings
Orcs adulthood=13
Middleage=25
Old=37
Venerable 50
These found out using hte formula
Orc=HalfOrc - (Human - HalfOrc)

Very similar, a buddy will roll up a character and if dissatisfied will claim the character died at birth and reroll a new character....if the DM allows anyway.
