First to explain the situation. My character is a Warforged (gestalt, UA)Artificer in a non-Eberron home-brew setting. Now 5th level he has made a name for himself a fine sculpture. Because of that he has been commissioned by two wizards(the rest of the party figured that out) to create busts of some of the other party members. Giving wizards likeness of people, especially those you like, can be a bad thing however I dare not refuse or fail to deliver. I fully intend to deliver these busts but want to curse them. I want to have them shatter if they are used as spell Component or are the Focus of a spell. I am looking for a good way to accomplish that and keep the curse hidden. That way blame can reasonably be placed on the buyers when they brake. Any suggestions?
