Sekkin 11-26-06, 11:50 PM	Hey, I am thinking about creating an illithid character, I have looked at the SS but i am not completely understanding it. But what i am going for is a character who has a chance of controlling players and probably wont be using any weapons and will rely on his tentacles, can anyone help me with this? Thanks :D Note: I am not sure if this is the right forum for this so just tell me if its not.

Neratos 11-26-06, 11:52 PM	Optimization boards would be best for this. However you are looking not starting any classes till 16th level. So unless this is a very very high level game, expect to be stuck with just your tenticles for a long time. Also, if you are gonna invest in a brain sucker and focus on tenticles go with the Large illithids from lords of madness
Sekkin 11-27-06, 12:11 AM	well the level hasn't been decided yet.i am not looking for the a savant but what i am looking for is the charming and possibly obtaining a thrall(s) as the game progresses. does lords of madness tell how to make an ulitharid character, because i cant seem to find it.
Neratos 11-27-06, 12:26 AM	You want thralls? Well, then you want thrall herd from EPH. But you won't be able to start that prestige till level 21
Sekkin 11-27-06, 12:28 AM	my issue with psionics is that i have read the book multiple time and for some reason my thick skull still doesnt completely understand it
