Can anyone give me a pointer or reference to whether players can cooperate to make a magic item?

In other words, could my wizard character (with craft wand feat) make a wand of cure light wounds if I enlisted the help of my fellow player's cleric character? (Note, I'm not talking about using it, just whether I could make it...)

I know under some heading (create wondrous item maybe?) it mentions the item creator doesn't have to know a spell, just needs access to it... or something like that.

Taking this whole thing a step further... could my cleric friend and I combine using my scribe scroll feat to scribe some clerical scrolls? (ie. cure light wounds, Magic Stone, whatever...)

I thought I read somewhere that all the above were sort of DM variants, to be approved by them or not...

Can anyone tell me what is official, and what are typical house rules?

If I CAN scribe a scroll with the cleric's spells on it, who pays for the experience cost? (I assume the character with the scribe scroll feat does, unless the DM has a house rule saying anyone contributing can share in the EXP cost...)

Prerequisites

Certain requirements must be met in order for a character to create a magic item. These include feats, spells, and miscellaneous requirements such as level, alignment, and race or kind. The prerequisites for creation of an item are given immediately following the item’s caster level.

A spell prerequisite may be provided by a character who has prepared the spell (or who knows the spell, in the case of a sorcerer or bard), or through the use of a spell completion or spell trigger magic item or a spell-like ability that produces the desired spell effect. For each day that passes in the creation process, the creator must expend one spell completion item or one charge from a spell trigger item if either of those objects is used to supply a prerequisite.

It is possible for more than one character to cooperate in the creation of an item, with each participant providing one or more of the prerequisites. In some cases, cooperation may even be necessary.

If two or more characters cooperate to create an item, they must agree among themselves who will be considered the creator for the purpose of determinations where the creator’s level must be known. The character designated as the creator pays the XP required to make the item.
You mean like that?

Yep, good enough. I think that may even have been where I saw it... just couldn't find it again.
