| Thoom07-24-07, 02:04 PM | I am in a world were all the chars are half-dragon/ half <insert here> I happen to be playing half celestial. Anyhoo when our chars die we reincarnate but have to choose new classes. We have up to 7 lvls of class/classes to choose <prestige is allowed if we meet requirements.> Suggestions? |
| shadzar07-24-07, 02:08 PM | so you are asking what to choose since you have died? |
| DrMorganes07-24-07, 02:22 PM | Not enough information. What other classes are in your party? What classes do you like? Are there any classes you'd like to try? What additional source books are you allowed to use? Is your DM is aware that Reincarnation does not, by the rules, force (or even allow) a change of class? |

| Lady_Dragon07-24-07, 06:31 PM | I was having this discussion recently. Usually, having a level adjustment as a full caster is a BAD IDEA. But, the half-celestial template is a tempting choice for a wizard because of the the intelligence bonus (especially if you can find a base race that has an int bonus as well). We reasoned that they would be survivable at a low level due to resistances and flight. Specializing is probably advisable to make up for your missing levels. Otherwise, I'd say any other full caster class in a no-no when dealing with a +4 LA, so you're pretty much stuck with martial. |
