i was just wondering, is it possible for a warlock to roll a crit with his Eldritch Blast ?? I cant find anything about it in the complete arcane. Its not a spell or a attack so i really got no idea...

Yes, it counts as a ray, which has the standard 20 /x2 crit.

In fact, you can even enhance it with feats like Weapon Focus (Ray) and Improved Critical (ray).

Happy blasting :D

I thought you used Ability Focus (eldritch blast) for it.

I thought you used Ability Focus (eldritch blast) for it.

Yes, you can use that as well - but that increases the DC of the save (if any) when you use it.

The ray is a viable weapon to choose for things like Weapon Focus and Improved Critical.

It is also subject to Point Blank Shot and Precise Shot.

Yeah, criting with warlocks is just fun :D

Watching the gm look at you funny as you deal double damage on a quite nasty attack is fun.

General is rule is that if it has an attack roll, it can crit, so yes, Eldritch Blast can crit. Because the crit is unspecified, it's assumed to be 20/x2.
