| Moonwolf6804-16-08, 01:25 AM | My DM is starting a new campaign with some friends of ours that we haven't played with in a long time. He's planning for it to be a fun completely role-playing based campaign. I'm stuck between two classes but I know what kind of personality I want. I want to play a happy-go-lucky optimist that's always joking and doesn't take many things seriously. My problem is I'm not a naturally funny person. So my question is anyone have any cool D&D (or maybe even Eberron as that is the world he is using) jokes? Not jokes as in D&D related, but something a character living in that world at that time might say. I was aiming for jokes that are more corny and goofy. I even thought about having little sayings that my character says depending on the situation. Sayings that sound wise but may not make sense in the given situation. Sort of like Fortune Cookies :D Here are some I found online, although they aren't D&D related: Two muffins are in the oven. One says to the other "God it's hot in here" The other one replies "Oh no... It's a talking muffin" Fortune Cookie: If the cake is bad, what good is the frosting? {something that could sound wise in specific situations but otherwise sounds goofy} Any jokes/joke-ideas would be appreciated! |

There's lots more in a D&D jokes thread somewhere, but a character doesn't have to tell jokes to be happy-go-lucky ... just be lighthearted, don't take much seriously and have fun! |

Oh I plan to be light-hearted and have fun :) , but I thought adding jokes or some little funny sayings would be an extra slice of fun. Especially Eberron related jokes as Eberron is one of our party/DM's favorite settings. Thought I'd do a little "research" to add some extra funness to the campaign that is related to the world we love. Thanks for the joke submissions too, love 'em! My favorite so far is definitely the Silver Flame one (DM, when he plays, loves playing the paladins...heheheh can't wait to use that one :D ) |
| Demetri_Knighthawk04-17-08, 02:29 PM | how many warforged does it take to rebuild a lightning train? None they, were never programed to do that. |
