Daelkyr Half blood [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-12-06, 12:30 AM I really would like to play a Daelkyr half blood from maguc of eberron in the campaign i am playing, but we are playing in the Forgotten Realms :weep: , problem.... yes.

I am going to need help convincing my dm to allow it, as i believe thay are very simalar to a planetouched race, My dm like to keep to the theme of medieval in dnd and i believe that the Daelkyr half blood suits this image.
any help would be appreciated.

10-12-06, 02:55 PM Instead of Xoriat, you could descend from the Far Realms, Limbo, or the Abyss. Also, if the campaign is "medieval style", magic corruption fits right into that - perhaps one of your ancestors made a pact so foul that all his descendants are warped and unnatural.

But prepare to disguise yourself inside civilization - DHBs are not well liked in Eberron, IIRC, and I imagine they'd be considered outright monsters in a medieval world.
