WCH 07-18-07, 11:41 PM	Looking at creating a "traveller" type character... mysterious, always on the move, doesn't let his motivations be publically known. Game is set in Eberron, or I'd probably make him a worshipper of Fharlaghan. DM requested that characters be "misfits, not readily accepted in society" and encouraged the use of non-core material. Game is level 8, current characters are Thri-keen, Warforged and Wereape. Any suggestions for race and class? I've been looking at Shifter but I'm not really satisfied with it. Considering possibly Warlock; Ranger and Scout are obvious choices but haven't really caught my eye. Haven't looked at PrCs yet. Any ideas?

Lawlicron 07-19-07, 12:26 AM	I think you might want to post this on the Eberron boards. But I love Eberron and don't mind. But you could always be a follower of The Traveler from the Dark Six, he isn't actually super evil like the rest of the Dark Six hes just neutral and tacked in there for balance. The Traveler is just kind of the Eberron equal to Fharlaghan. The Daelkyr half-bloods are awesome, great race.
WCH 07-19-07, 12:55 AM	I know... extremely little about Eberron. I always play in Greyhawk or modified Greyhawk, except one time I played in FR. So, please, more details would be most appreciated.
Rerecros 07-19-07, 01:10 AM	We are limited by the rules as to what we can tell you, buy the eberron campain setting, not only for eberron it has lots of useful gooodies. RoE is severly flawed, but has it's merits, great fluff for kalishtar, and the cabinet trickster my favorite PrC :D

CG(CN) Changling Warlock 5 / chamelion 3 (i belive walock can qualify for chamelion at 6th level but i might be wrong) With this combination you can not only look like any race and hide youself and perhaps your darker powers but the chamelion Prc ( found in races of destiney) is all about emulation other base classes. this way you can adapt your character in a radical ways, mascarading as a half-orc warrior in one town and a halfling cleric in another.

Voran 07-19-07, 07:20 AM	Wasn't there a ghostwalker prestige class back in 3.0 Warrior? Sorta the "Man with no name" grim avenger thing, with swords. Don't have the source material readily on hand, lemme look, and I'll paraphrase what I can tomorrow.
